Database Types
A Database Type determines the specific amounts of RAM, CPU and disk storage allocated to a Cloud SQL instance.
A number of different types are available to suit various workloads with varying associated hourly costs.
Changing Database Type
Cloud SQL instances can be resized by changing the Database Type.
It is currently only possible to resize to a larger type.
